In the winter, if a planter is to remain planted, they should be raised up off the ground making sure not to block the drainage hole. This allows the planter to drain and will prevent the planter from freezing to the ground. If the planter is not to be planted, it should be brought inside to a garage or shed. If this is not possible, follow the steps above, but turn the planter upside down to prevent it from filling with snow and ice. It should then be covered or wrapped with burlap or any absorbent material and then wrapped with dark plastic to prevent it from accumulating moisture.

We used this on our patio for a 10' pole to connect bistro lights to and planed around the pole. It worked great and looks beautiful.. Lisa. Woodway, WA. Sun Sep 11 2022

The Palo Alto handmade planter by Campania International will elevate your garden or patio. Crafted from durable cast stone, this planter is designed to withstand the elements, making it perfect for outdoor use. Its classic design and weather-resistant finish ensure it complements any outdoor setting. With multiple color options, it seamlessly fits into your existing decor.

These pots are substantial and beautifully enhance my garden design. I gave one less star because the drainage hole is too small (or perhaps there needs to be more than one for such a large pot?) That being said, we have a lot of rain where I am located, so perhaps it will not be a problem in other areas. The other issue ( major, difficult, and disappointing) was that delivery was not as promised, neither easy or well handled. But once these fabulous pots were unpacked, placed and planted they anchor my garden and give me endless pleasure.. Barbara. Juno Beach, FL. Mon Sep 23 2024

Characterized by their organic shapes and dramatic scale, these planters are stone cast with color all the way through and work outdoors. Very durable and lighter than concrete.

The cast stone pieces are made with a high-density cast stone mix. Patinas are hand applied by skilled artisans, providing each piece with its own unique finish. Pieces will weather over time, adding to their beauty. Cast stone must be protected in the winter to prevent damage.
