I love, love this fountain! The bases are wide and don't topple when, for example, a cat or squirrel jumps on. The 3 tiers are not physically attached, so there is a lot of freedom in how you can arrange them (you'll need help moving the lowest basin, but an adult male can handle the other pieces alone). Most pedestal fountains have a rubber gasket sealing the hole where the pump cord goes, but this has a hidden tube above the waterline to pass the power cord through, so no seal is needed. This made it easy for me to replace the pump with a solar-powered one. I am not a fan of resin, and I really appreciate the "real" look of the stone. It’s really big and looks like a genuine rock. All of the parts needed to set up were in the package. I was a little worried that wouldn’t be so because the description was not specific. I love the fountain. Its working beautifully and it wasn't hard to assemble. However, I had to persuade the person who delivered the very heavy cumbersome package it came in to use his dolly to place it on my deck. He wasn't going to do it!!!
