Mid-Century design in mahogany and select hardwoods. The upholstered stool is available in standard fabric, a linen and cotton blend with a soft hand in a natural greige coloration. The Antico upholstery finish is a warm medium brown tone with a hint of gray.
We remodeled our kitchen and wanted more comfortable, stylish bar and counter stools. These had a unique style and great wood options that appealed to us. These have been our experiences
- All 6 chairs (3 bar, 3 counter) were packed well and arrived in perfect condition.
-I was shocked that they are SO lightweight, even though they look really heavy.
-Construction is solid, they are well-made, and colors were represented well online.
-The fabric is better than I expected. Sturdy, tight. I cant testify to the stain resistance yet, but I intend to spray them with a fabric sealer to help them last longer.
- The cushions are deep and very comfortable, like a soft mattress.
- The chairs are standard heights, but the seat foams are not dense, so after sinking 1 into them, the counter is uncomfortably high. Im also concerned that they may crush down with use.
-The short backs are comfortable, actually, but lean back too far. Most people arent comfortable being in semi-reclined positions to achieve back support.
- The seats are very deep, front to back, which is great. Shorter seats can cause painful pressure on the backs of upper legs. These seats are VERY scoop shaped, which is comfortable for sitting, but are a bit awkward to get onto because the sides are so high.
-We are not using the counter stools yet because were waiting for some ordered cushions to give us more height at the counter. NOT happy about needing to add cushions to upholstered seats!
- I believe the price is inflated, but these were immediately available when a LOT of furniture was not. And the color and style are PERFECT compliments to our greatroom decor. Would I choose them again Currently undecided.. Deborah F. Bradenton, FL. Mon Sep 13 2021
