A wonderful cake deserves to be enjoyed and served in style. The Bernadotte cake spade brings a notable and elegant touch to the table – and your cake. Its fluted shaft is inspired by the Functionalist movement of the 1930s, and the organic shape of the blade points back to heritage Georg Jensen designs. The Bernadotte collection was created by Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte, and the first cutlery pieces were released in 1938. Ever since then, the collection has been extended with new additions, and it remains one of the most successful and popular collaborations in the history of Georg Jensen.

Following the typical minimalist approach that features in all Jasper Morrison's work, this design is an attempt to reduce the "cutlery-object" to its barest essence, its purest and most customary form and what might tentatively be called its definitive form, and deliberately stripped of all stylistic value and - perhaps precisely because of this - recognizable as Morrison's work.

Dressed, created by the designer Marcel Wanders, is a collection characterized by delicate decoration, hidden in the less visible parts of the objects. Look at it carefully and you will see, at the least expected place, a decoration that enhances its design, giving the products a unique and discreet elegance. Dressed, a collection of simple lines knows how to surprise thanks to its hidden decorations.

For Achille Castiglioni objects had to fulfill two essential requirements: they should offer practical solutions to the small problems arising while “being at the table,” possibly with intelligent functional innovation, and they should also satisfy the public’s taste, for example, for the finish of the metal.
