Bought this for the guest bath. I did not want to have to use a thermostatic diverter valve so this was a great alternative. The supply always goes to the hand wand. To use the rain shower, you slide the hand wide into the shower pipe.. Mike. Tucson, AZ. Sat Jul 26 2014

This is a beautiful shower system. The left side controls the shower/hand held. The right controls the water temperature. The controls are notched so the only way you can change where the water comes from or the temperature is by pushing a button underneath the knob and turning to front or back. It's a really cool feature. Very clean, modern, and timeless.. Jennifer. New York, NY. Mon May 01 2017
