The Mello sculpture is a resin abstract reference to organic form. Contemplative and sinuous and rendered in white plaster, it may be human, animal, or just a gesture or feeling.

This Mar tray is a nod to a tropical still life painting. Here, it's easy to imagine flowers and fruit flowing from these handmade natural and black rattan vessels that have an urbane quality by the addition of a noir wrapping detail. The ink-stained finish, like a classy little black dress, finds its importance throughout the collection, allowing many pieces to hold both the place of formal and informal.
