I ordered 2 of these planters to flank my front entry steps (Alpine Stone color). They are exactly as described and heavy enough that they won't blow over in the strong winds that we have been experiencing. I plan on planting desert type succulent plants in them, as I don't want to put them on drip irrigation. This is an extraordinary planter! The pictures does not show how large is actually is. It is an estate piece that will capture everyone's eye. It is also VERY HEAVY! These handmade solid brass cachepots come with removable powder-coated iron inner liners. The small fits an 8-inch orchid perfectly. The medium fits 3-4 6-inch orchids, and the large is big enough for the grandest of arrangements.
