• A new collection is born which is something of a follow-up to my longstanding collaboration with Kartell on the tableware project. It is a further development of research into materials and applications for tableware. Hence, we came up with the idea of a new line with which to recount a different sort of table by applying certain shapes, effects, and looks to plastic, which has been borrowed from other ambits and materials. Its name is Trama (meaning plot or weave in Italian), because of its storytelling function, its tactile nature - equally important in this collection - and its reference to a more geometrical, more austere, and more rigorous approach.
